Parish Church of the Holy Trinity

TIME : 2016/2/18 23:19:07

Another huge brick structure, the Parish Church is 50m northwest of the Rynek. Founded in 1402, it was almost completely consumed by fire in the mid-17th century (only the chancel survived) and rebuilt. Note the intricate grape pattern on the wrought-iron main gates. Inside, the renovated gilded high altar is 350 years old, as is the elaborate pulpit. The freestanding onion-domed bell tower (1651) houses three bells called Jan, Marian and Urban. The tower is one of the largest in Poland.
