Isaac Synagogue

TIME : 2016/2/18 23:22:52

Near the southwestern edge of the Remuh Cemetery is Kraków’s largest synagogue, completed in 1644. In the wake of WWII, it was finally returned to the Jewish community in 1989. Inside you can see the remains of the original stuccowork and wall-painting decoration. The synagogue was recently restored and now houses a permanent exhibition titled 'In Memory of Polish Jews'.
