City Art Gallery , housed in a fairytale 1903 Art Nouveau villa that once belonged to German industrialist Leopold Kindermann. While the building itself lacks colour, it’s well worth a look for its attractive flower motifs, tree-trunk columns and wrought-iron work. Contemporary works by Polish artists are normally the focus of the gallery’s temporary exhibitions.
