This museum, part of the Battle of Stalingrad museum complex, has dozens of exhibits on the Battle of Stalingrad and the soldiers who fought. The model of the ruined city (post-battle) is a moving display of the human capacity for both destruction and rebuilding, and a highlight is the vivid 360-degree Battle of Stalingrad Panorama. It's two blocks east of the pl Lenina high-speed tram stop, or a 20-minute stroll through the river park from alleya Geroyev.
