The Museu de la Mar tells the maritime history of Sóller. It is housed in a 13th-century chapel, the Oratori de Santa Caterina d’Alexandria , standing imperiously on a high point overlooking the sea (stand four square to the wind and watch the Med crash against the impervious cliffs). Inside the museum is a display of photos, documents, models of boats and more. This is followed by an imaginative audiovisual display.
