In hillside parklands stands the Marqués de Comillas' wonderful neo-Gothic Palacio de Sobrellano. With this building, Modernista architect Joan Martorell truly managed to out-Gothic real Gothic. Martorell also designed the marquis' ornate family tomb, the Capilla Panteón de Sobrellano , next door. Visits to both buildings are by 20-minute guided tour in Spanish; entry to the grounds is free.
