Binibèquer looks like a charming fishing village; in fact, it was modelled on one in the early 1970s. Gleaming white and something of a tourist beehive, its sugar-cube houses and tight alleys are appealing, whatever their genesis. A 15-minute walk east of the village centre brings you to a sandy cove with transparent water. Buses from Maó stop here.
