Parken Zoo is one of central Sweden’s most popular family attractions. The 80-plus kinds of animals on show include monkeys, komodo dragons and beautiful white tigers that were successfully bred here. It’s not a cheap day out: additional charges are levied for parking (Skr15 per hour), the amusement park and the swimming pool .
Parken Zoo is 1.5km west of the town centre. The bus runs frequently from the train and bus stations.
