The parish church of St Thomas the Martyr houses several ancient stones relating to the first St Dogmael's monastery, including the Sagranus Stone, inscribed in Latin and ogham. The stone was instrumental in deciphering the ancient ogham script in the 19th century. The church's altar was originally from the monastery and is one of the oldest in Britain.
