Despite the name, this souq is not really covered at all and more a warren of small shops in narrow lanes crisscrossing a few square blocks. Even if you’re not keen on cheap textiles, faux Gucci, kandouras (casual shirt-dresses worn by men and women), washing powder and cheap trainers, you’re sure to be wowed by the high-energy street scene.
