Montana State University's museum is the most entertaining in Montana and shouldn't be missed, with stellar dinosaur exhibits, early Native American art and laser planetarium shows, as well as a living-history outdoors section (closed in winter) and various temporary exhibits. Guided tours happen more or less constantly and are recommended for families with young children, as they let kids get more interactive with some of the displays.
