This Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece is south of Pittsburgh in the Laurel Highlands area. Completed in 1939 as a weekend retreat for the Kaufmanns, owners of a Pittsburgh department store, the building blends seamlessly with its natural setting. It's accessible only by a guided tour, and reservations are recommended. The attractive forested grounds open at 8:30am.
