A pedestrian-friendly and peacefully lazy, channeled slice of the Arkansas – the rest of it is running more fiercely underground – this is the center of historic Pueblo. There are sidewalks on both sides of the river and plenty of shady seating too. It runs for about four blocks and during the summer months you can book pedal boats or take a gondola tour.
The city hosts occasional concerts and events here too.
