Patagonia Lake State Park

TIME : 2016/2/18 11:29:10

A brilliant blue blip dolloped into the mountains, 2.5-mile-long Patagonia Lake was formed by the damming of Sonoita Creek. About 7 miles southwest of Patagonia, the lake is open year-round. At 4050ft above sea level, buffeted by lake and mountain breezes, the air is cool – making this a perfect spot for camping, picnicking, walking, bird-watching, fishing, boating and swimming. The campground makes a fine base for exploring the region.

The visitor center is open 7am-10pm on Fridays April through October.
