This prehistoric Pueblo was built around AD 1100, and connected with the larger settlement at Chaco – literally so, by a ‘road’ that ran due south. Its central feature, a huge Great Kiva of the kind seen in ruins at Chaco, has been reconstructed to give an eerie impression of how such places must have looked in use a thousand years ago. Rangers give early afternoon talks about ancient architecture, trade routes and astronomy in summer.
