The informative film at the Utah Field House of Natural History is the best all-round introduction to Utah’s dinosaurs. Interactive exhibits, video clips and, of course, giant fossils are wonderfully relevant to the area. As soon as the growing institution fills up its new 22,000-sq-ft space, this museum will be tops in the state. Some kids we know think it is already. Ask about volunteering for museum curator–led digs.
