For the most spectacular view of Wailua Peninsula, stop at the large paved pull-off on the ocean side of the road 0.25 miles past the 19-mile marker. There’s no sign but it’s not hard to find as two concrete picnic tables mark the spot. Grab a seat, break out your snack pack and ogle the taro fields and jungle vistas unfolding below.
