Baraboo, about 45 miles northwest of Madison, was once the winter home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. The museum preserves a nostalgic collection of wagons, posters and equipment from the touring big-top heyday. In summer, admission includes clowns, animals and acrobats doing the three-ring thing in live performances.
