Along the banks of the ship canal, Fremont Canal Park extends west, following the extension of the Burke-Gilman Trail. Right at the start of the park, at the bottom of Phinney Ave N, you’ll see two giant, life-size ‘apatosaurs'. These are the world’s largest known topiaries, given to Fremont by the Pacific Science Center.
