Granville Island Brewing

TIME : 2016/2/19 4:02:35

One of Canada's oldest microbreweries offers 30 minute tours where smiling guides walk you through the tiny brewing nook (production has mostly shifted to larger premises), before depositing you in the Taproom for three 4oz samples. This will likely include the company's lager and cream ale but if you're really lucky, you'll get a small-batch seasonal made right here on the island.

You'll spot many GIB brews in bars and restaurants around the city. You can also buy some takeout in the adjoining store – small-batch faves including Irish Red, Imperial IPA and Cloak & Dagger Cascadian Dark Ale are recommended.
