Local character Sherman Hines' most fabulous endeavor is a must-see for anyone who enjoys the offbeat. There are halls of taxidermy animals, cases of gorgeous aboriginal beadwork, walls of Hines' beautiful photography (including from his Mongolian adventures) and a room dedicated to outhouses around the world.
If you love it so much you don't want to leave, an authentic Mongolian yurt (with en-suite bathroom) is for rent adjacent to the museum for a $100 per night donation. Admission to the museum includes entry to the Sherman Hines Museum of Photography .
