Cameron Falls

TIME : 2016/2/19 4:08:29

Located at the west end of Cameron Falls Dr, a short hop from the central townsite, is this dramatically poised torrent of foaming water, notable among geologists for harboring the oldest exposed Precambrian rocks in the Canadian Rockies. Estimates suggest they are 1.5 billion years old, give or take the odd millennium. The lookout here is paved for wheelchair access and the falls are rather fetchingly lit up at night.
