Despite all the polar bear talk, there are no wild polar bear in the region. This center is dedicated to the conservation, care and well-being of polar bears: Ganuk is presently its only beary resident. Visitors can interact with him at daily 'meet the bear' sessions, or swim with him in a pool divided by a thick sheet of glass (swim session $5).
