This impressive museum dedicated to Durango city is housed in a structure that dates back to 1901. The museum's 14 rooms house an interesting permanent collection of interactive exhibits, from pre-Hispanic times through colonization to the present day, and deal with Durango's economy, mining, traditions and culture.
