At the Mazatlán peninsula’s southern end, a prominent rocky outcrop is the base for this lighthouse, which is 135m above sea level and claimed, inaccurately, to be the second-highest in the world. You can climb up here (avoid the heat of the day) for a spectacular view of the city and coast.
