La Paz, the laidback Baja California Sur capital, draws visitors from around the world with an array of eco-tourism attractions to please lovers of nature and the great outdoors.

La Paz is on the southern tip of the Mexican peninsula, around 140 miles (225 km) or a 3-hour drive north of Los Cabos.

The city sits on the famed Bay of La Paz, and enjoys mild winter temperatures and moderated summer highs thanks to the afternoon sea breeze.
