Tomaree National Park

TIME : 2016/2/18 14:23:55

This wonderfully wild expanse harbours several threatened species, including the spotted-tailed quoll and powerful owl.

At the eastern end of Shoal Bay there’s a short walk to the surf at unpatrolled Zenith Beach , or you can tackle the Tomaree Head Summit Walk (1km, one hour return) and be rewarded by stunning ocean views. For picnics and snorkelling try Fishermans Bay with its rock pools. Ask at the NPWS about longer treks, including the coastal walk from Tomaree Head to Big Rocky.
