From the town centre, the Cardwell Forest Drive is a scenic 26km round trip through the national park, with lookouts, walking tracks and picnic areas signposted along the way. There are super swimming opportunities at Attie Creek Falls , as well as the aptly named Spa Pool , where you can sit in a hollow in the rocks as water gushes over you.
Cardwell’s visitor centre has brochures detailing other walking trails and swimming holes in the park.
