Granite Gorge Nature Park

TIME : 2016/2/18 14:26:25

Granite Gorge is a privately owned nature park where you’re guaranteed to see (and feed) a whole crew of rock wallabies. There are maps detailing three 1km walks, and springy folk can give rock-hopping (on the large granite boulders) a go. The camping ground (unpowered/powered sites $24/28) has a kitchen, laundry and bathroom. It’s 12km west of Mareeba: follow Chewko Rd out of Mareeba for 7km, then take the turn-off to your right from there.
