For a lesson in local history, head to the Wollombi Courthouse , where old photos, cooking equipment, dental tools (including yellow-stained teeth) and old grocery store ledgers fill the rooms. The original prisoners exercise yard is attached. Stop in at Undercliff Winery & Gallery and sample its very good Shiraz. Undercliff also offers boutique accommodation for up to six people in the Settlers Cottage built in 1847.
