This park features rose-filled flower beds and the oldest building in town, Burnie Inn. The National Trust–classified inn was built in 1847 and later moved to the park from its original location. You can admire it from the outside only. The adjacent oval is home to New Year’s Day Burnie Athletics Carnival, and also the revered Burnie Dockers Aussie Rules football team.
