World Heritage–listed Iluka is a short detour off the highway or a ferry ride away; it’s the southern end of Bundjalung National Park , largely untouched and best explored with 4WD. Highlights include the literally named Ten Mile Beach and the hopefully not-literally named Hell Hole Lagoon. The passenger-only Clarence River Ferry runs four times daily.
