On the main road through Carrick is the amazing four-storey Carrick Mill, bulit in 1846. The mill's original waterwheel is still functional (in theory), but a string of failed hospitality businesses here has stopped it spinning (for now…). Anyone want to buy a historic Tasmanian stone flour mill, going cheap?
