The world's largest concentration of petroglyphs stretches out along the unwanted rocky hills of the heavily industrialized Burrup Peninsula. The most accessible are at Deep Gorge, near Hearson Cove and devastatingly, some sites have been vandalised. You'll need a 4WD to explore north of Withnell Bay.
