Glenfalloch Woodland Gardens

The Glenfalloch Woodland Gardens, established in 1871, has been named a Garden of National Significance by the New Zealand Garden Trust, and for good reason. The amazing grounds are filled with beautiful rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, and an array of other flower and fern species, as well as an incredible 1,000-year-old Matai Tree. Walking through the gardens is a tranquil, calming experience, and a haven for horticulture enthusiasts.

Enjoy beautiful harbor views, a mix of wildlife and native birds, and the charm of the Russell Creek while you wander through the gardens.

But the gardens are not just for nature-lovers: there is also a wide range of activities for all interests, including a trampoline for children, an artist's studio, a potter's studio, and a wonderful café right on the grounds.
