There are lots of WWII remains in town, such as the caterpillar-like corrugated-iron American WWII Quonset huts at Main Wharf and near Unity Park, and the rusting steel sea walls that are evidence of busier times. Million Dollar Point shows its coral-encrusted machinery to snorkellers, divers and low-tide walkers.
