Located 900m off the coast, Ilha de Porto Belo is a nature reserve and ecomuseu (ecomuseum). A well-marked hiking trail leads to scenic overlooks and a sandy beach. Snorkeling spots dot the coastline. Get a lift from a boat taxi (R$8) at Praça dos Pescadores in Porto Belo or at Bombinhas pier.
