Shiv Rathri is the most important festival, thousands of devotee and Sandhu Flocks to the temple.
Boudhanath
It is one the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal along with Swayambhu. It is very popular tourist site. It is located 11 km from the centre of Kathmandu. The Stupa massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical in Nepal.
Swayambhunath
It is one of the most famous sites in Kathmandu. This temple is often refers as Monkey temple because you will find monkey all around. The stupa is probably 1500 years old and is impressive and the area very pretty. You will find lot of temple all around and even of hill tops which is worth seeing
Museum
The national Museum of Nepal is located in the western part of Kathmandu. It was established in 1928 and is the collection house of war trophies and weapon.
