TIME : 2016/3/18 11:53:14
Many travelers heading to Asia often want to know which is the best airline to travel with. Asia has many airline companies and depending on your travel plans and location of travel would determine which are the best Asian airlines to go with.

If you are planning a trip inside Asia and are not planning on taking any other flights to get around the country, here are some of the most recommended Asian airlines.

Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific's base is located in Hong Kong. It is one of the higher end airlines with a high reputation. It's considered to be one of the best in the world. And although they may be a bit pricier than other airlines, you can expect high ranking customer service, very satisfying and great tasting on-flight meals, and for everything to be on time. The Cathay Pacific airline has a reputation of almost never being late, so if this is something that's very important to your travel plans, this may be the airline for you. Their smaller planes do have less leg room so you may end up feeling a little cramped.

Thai Airways

Thai Airways will provide you a first look at Thai customary clothing, their flight attendants wear traditional garbs. You'll also be introduced to Thai food as their menu consists mainly of Thai cuisine, although they are branching out but the food of the culture is quite better than their newcomers. One should however be prepared to self entertain with a good book or something of personal choice as this airline doesn't always provide entertainment. Thai Airways provides flights at a much lower cost than its competitors and their service is top rated but they do have a reputation of being inconsistent.

Singapore Airlines

Although this airline hails from a small country it keeps up with the best in the business. It has a reputation of being on time departing, as well as, arriving. Since it transports more people annually than its country's population can only prove that its standards of customer service, comfort, and entertainment rank high. Rates for this carrier are below the high end airlines but provide equivalent service and may be a choice to consider.

Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways of Dubai aren't very far behind the top notch Asian airlines. With their older planes holding them back from ranking exceptionally well, their newer model planes are keeping them in the competition. Their business class ranks high on both the old and newer planes, but the economy class on the older plane's seating is just uncomfortable and cramping. There is much more comfort in the newer planes for the economy class though. The meals on the new planes have a tendency to be better as well. The ticket cost is comparable to most other airlines in its class, but often you may find some good deals through other vendors for their flights.

These are just a few of the larger more reputable Asian airlines. Most researchers look into the more prominent and upscale airlines when they're assessing their rankings, but the smaller airlines should not be overlooked.

China Airways

China Airways, for instance, has attentive and friendly flight attendants, the food is good, and comfort of seating shows little complaints. They are usually on time with very little delays. The entertainment shows a five star rating which can be very useful for longer flights. Their rates are fairly cheap and definitely reasonable within most individual budgets. They offer other services as with the top notch airlines.

Korean Air

Korean Air, one of the most improved Asia airlines, their new planes provide business and first class passengers seats that recline 180 degrees with moveable armrests and lumbar massage. Each seat also has its own reading light. Seats in all classes have footrests and cup holders. They supply the standard amenities of soap and lotion in their restrooms but they include toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash and aftershave as well. Their economy class enables you to carry on two pieces of checked baggage without an extra charge. Entertainment is top notch with a variety of games, music, movies, and news. Customer service is professional and friendly. The food options are always the same and served in small portions.

There are many smaller Asian airlines that have good customer service, food, and entertainment. They usually have quite lower airfares as well. You can find many of these airlines through travel agencies and by doing an internet search yourself. An Inside Look At Asian Airlines - http://thepathwaytoasia.com/flights/
