TIME : 2016/2/26 9:41:51

Barcelona has been covered in new stars by the prestigious Michelin Guide and can now be truly regarded as a gastronomic capital.

Four new Barcelona restaurants have earned its first star reflecting their exceptional culinary achievements; Dos Cielos (Sergio & Javier Torres), Moments (Raul Balam Ruscalleda), Caelis (Romain Fornell) and Hisop (Oriol Ivern). Miramar earns its second star, a restaurant located in Llan, north of Catalonia. All the three star establishments keep their category.

The Ferran Adri restaurant, El Bulli, will be included in the Michelin Guide for the final year. Afterwards the establishment will remain closed for two years to become a foundation.
