Here’s a little known fact: it’s the 150th anniversary of the birth of Harry Stevens, creator of the hot dog, who was born in Derby in the UK before later emigrating to America. Derby will therefore be hosting a Sausage and Ale Trail as part of Derby’s 29th annual CAMRA Beer Festival celebrations. The event runs from tomorrow through to 9th July 2006.
