Located between the ancient Bell Tower and Drum Tower, the Century Ginwa Shopping Mall is an exclusive shopping center filled with designer stores from around the world. Among more than 60 world-famous brands are represented here, and discriminating shoppers will find Dior, Givenchy, Lancome and Estee Lauder. 

Shuyuan Xiang

This street specializes in art supplies such as paintings, calligraphy, paper cuts and brushes. Tourists can also purchase replicas of rubbings from the Forest of Stelae Museum and handicrafts such as leather and paper crafts. 

Xi'an shopping tips

Discounts can be had at most market stalls and even at some shopping centers. Bartering is common practice throughout China and with a little persistence and charm it is possible to save up to 50 percent of the original asking price. Shoppers should only ask the price if they intend to purchase however as once engaged, the sellers can be extremely persistent.
