The ISC (Indonesian Surfing Championship) is going from strength to strength. Latest event to get excited about is the Dompu Indonesian Open at Lakey Peak in Sumbawa.
Sumbawa definitely takes a bit longer to get to than the Bukit Peninsula, but when you’re there there will be way least other surfers and a more rustic type of scene, reminiscent of Bali back in the 70′s.
