Swell forecast for Nusa Dua Bali

TIME : 2016/2/25 14:04:21

Wet season conditions here in Bali, and after strong storms, the eastern coastline is where you’ll find most surfers. Nusa Dua right now is getting offshore winds, whcih are rather too strong. Today’s swell height was predicted at 8ft, with a 20mph wind.

Over the next several day, the swell gets smaller, but the intervals are longer. Next tuesday, Jan 9th, the predicted swell height is 5.5ft with a 14 second interval. Nusa Dua is a good surf spot, and people have told me they have had the best day of surfing ever there. You will find surf along the east coast at Ketewel, Lebih and even at Pantai Jasri (small).

A fellow I talked too yesterday, told me the onshore wind conditions in the Kuta area, make riding a motorbike more hazardous. A fine layer of sand gets blown onto the road, that you cannot see. Any sudden movement could be painful, so take it easy on coastal roads.
