Tokyo Disneyland Christmas

TIME : 2016/2/24 15:56:18

Christmas is a magical time at Tokyo Disneyland. Enjoy seasonal displays throughout the park that fit the theme “Disney’s Santa Village.” A gorgeous 15- meter tall (almost 50 feet) Christmas tree welcomes guests as they enter the World Bazaar, and the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle is transformed into a toy factory.

Mickey and his friends are dressed for the occasion as they appear around the park. Be sure to attend the “Disney’s Santa Village Parade,” featuring the characters helping Santa make toys in a song and dance extravaganza which even comes with falling snow. It runs twice a day and lasts about 45 minutes, following the usual parade route. At night, the parade “Dreamlights” is a fun fantasy with classic Christmas music and sparkly lights. It also lasts about 45 minutes.

This video for the Christmas parade was taken in November 2013, the parade starts at around the 6:45 mark.

There are special menu items at Tokyo Disneyland during Christmas in many of the restaurants and food carts, some served in collectible souvenir cups celebrating the 30th anniversary Christmas. Enjoy Christmas cake, gingerbread, cookies, and more. Look for souvenirs in the stores reflecting the toy factory theme; there are over 50 new products offered. Christmas items related to the movie Toy Story also appear for the first time.

Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland is a fun experience for the whole family, but it does not last long: the event is only open from November 7 to December 25, 2013.
