Miyajima Ropeway at Mount Misen

TIME : 2016/2/24 15:57:57

Miyajima Ropeway, Hiroshima.

The most convenient way to reach the summit of Mt. Misen in Miyajima is to take one of the cable cars which runs to the top. From there, you will have a fantastic panoramic view of the Inland Sea and can explore the unusual rock formations and forest covering the mountain. It is also the site of some of Kobo Daishi’s ascetic studies, so an important Shingon Buddhist temple is located where he lived.
