Although DisneySea has many attractions related to movies, it does not focus on the famous Disney animated characters as much as Disneyland. The Horizon Bay Restaurant in Port Discovery is one exception. It has a sightly futuristic, nautical theme which carries through to its seafood menu.Various classic characters such as Mickey and Donald Duck will stop by and visit with guests regularly, so check with a staff member for the daily schedule.

If you are not interested in the characters, the restaurant is still a good choice. The meals are in the middle price range, and there is children’s menu available. Alcohol can also be ordered, but not during Disney character visits. The restaurant seats 600. Try for a seat next to one of the large windows for a good view of the park.
