Take a 10-minute ride down jungle rivers in a covered boat in the Adventureland area of Tokyo Disneyland. See elephants spraying water, brave an attack by hippopotamus, and meet tribal natives. The animatronics in this classic ride are more primitive than many newer ones, but still enjoyable to behold, and appear more realistic at night. The timelessness makes it one of the most popular attractions in the park.
Part of the appeal of this ride is the wise-cracking banter of the guide, which unfortunately is only in Japanese. Even so, enjoying the scenery and wildlife from Asia, Africa, and South America can be enjoyable for the whole family, including young children. There are no boarding restrictions, and each boat seats 32 people
