It can be hard to find safe, pristine, and genuinely beautiful play parks in city centres - except in Bath, which benefits from a wealth of public green spaces based only a few minutes walk from the central sights.

Days out
Much of Bath’s surrounding countryside is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and hides intriguing attractions waiting to be explored. Bath’s central train station and bus terminal act as great transport links to nearby towns and villages.
Only 20 miles south from central Bath, you’ll find Longleat Safari and Adventure Park. Kids - and adults - can marvel at majestic lions, towering giraffes, and slithering snakes. Drive through the monkey park, say hello to the penguins, and cap it off by exploring the winding world of the iconic hedge maze.
