Once the sun goes down over the desert, Palm Springs comes to life, with the majority of nightlife venues being casual and laid back. Expect beer and dancing rather than pretentious celebrity joints, although there are some more upmarket venues for special, sleek occasions.

Music venues

Palm Springs encourages its local talent, as well as attracting big name bands, and the intimate local venues are host to lots of excellent live music. Whether it's cozy local pubs, or rough and ready dive bars, there's some great music to be found in this town.

Village Pub

The Village Pub in downtown Palm Springs is a lively venue with different bands every day of the week. There's beer on tap and shots to get you in the mood for dancing, and The Loft upstairs has DJs spinning records until late. There's also a more chilled out area with table football and comfy chairs where you can sit back and enjoy the music.
